In 2016 I was awarded a residency by  BRAG (Bathurst Regional Art Gallery) to Murray's Cottage a famous cottage with a wonderful artistic history. During this time I was intrigued by the 19th century buildings which were left from the gold rush days where some 10000 plus inhabited the town at present some 111 inhabitants . The October light and the lovely proportional colonial building and their geometry served to engaged me in some artistic explorations.
